Abstract
The space industry has rapidly evolved in recent years, marked by groundbreaking technologies, growing private sector involvement, and a rising global interest in commercial and scientific space exploration. With this advent, achieving as many outcomes as possible that improve an astronaut's quality of life and mitigate any risks is essential. Considering the host of factors that need to be brought to attention, as well as the multitude of potential medical risks associated with the spaceflight environment, both short and long-term, it is vital to establish effective management strategies and eliminate or minimize disease progression. Here, we review and outline a pharmacopeia for the pharmaceutical medications and treatments often demanded for short-term spaceflight. In conjunction, we introduce the development of an interactive large language model to be used alongside the pharmacopeia for increased interaction and easy access to inform the general public. We programmed a user-friendly AI tool that could answer user queries related to an astronaut's health and potentially serve as a flight attendant's AI assistant.
